Digital Partner Marketing Advisor (proficient in English and Japanese)
We are looking for a Digital Partner Marketing Advisor (DPMA) to manage the relationship with a series of technology companies to drive high level marketing planning & campaign management.
We are Indigo Slate, a Seattle based Marketing powerhouse with deep expertise in marketing for technology brands working closely with Foolproof, a product design specialist. Both companies are owned by Zensar, a global technology provider. Regardless of the brand, each remains committed to the power of experience-led design, marketing and engineering.
We are looking for a Digital Partner Marketing Advisor (DPMA) to manage the relationship with a series of technology companies to drive high level marketing planning & campaign management. This individual should be passionate about the power of technology to solve business challenges and be able to dig into strategy around unique positioning and campaign approaches for technology companies looking for real impact.
This role is initially offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.
This is an urgent role. To be considered, you must be available for an interview during the week commencing 2nd December 2024 and able to start work no later than 16th December 2024.
Basic Requirements
- You must be able to communicate in both English and Japanese at professional proficiency level.
- You must be able to work from 6am-3pm UK time. This is to allow an overlap with the APAC team.
- You must be able to work from our London office (or local client office at least twice a week).
- Based on our business strategy, client needs and specific job roles, there may be a requirement to travel to client sites either domestically or internationally.
- Due to the consulting nature of our business you must be willing to work on projects for clients across a wide range of industries.

The role
As a Partner Marketing Advisor, you'll craft collaborative value propositions with partners and engaging stakeholders. Prioritize, develop the marketing strategy based on this, and define solutions. Your unique contribution extends to translating these joint value propositions into impactful marketing outputs, collaborating closely with our internal creative studio and partners for cohesive deliverables.
Specifically, you will
- Define joint value prop between client Partner, in alignment with expected business outcomes for the local area.
- Document marketing priorities and goals and connect the GTM value proposition to the market needs.
- Act as SME, demonstrating deep understanding and pulse of the partner eco-system (market, competition, demand), providing local feedback and insights on campaign landing to Area and Corporate marketing stakeholders.
- Ensure campaign lead flow (inbound, outbound) operating as planned and nurture stream/hand-offs are prepped.
- Relationship management with a select group of partners, driving close collaboration on campaigns.
- Seek opportunities to collaborate across the team, connecting activities to simplify and drive success.
- Be a champion for holistic growth of a new program and opportunity for our team.
Your Experience
- 5+ years of experience in product or channel marketing, partner channel development, business development, alliance management, through partner marketing in the technology industry.
- Multilingual is a big plus in growing our global teams. For this role you MUST be proficient in written and spoken English and Japanese.
- Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills.
- Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Problem solving, escalating when needed.
- Experience working with a team of SMEs (Strategy, Creative, Media, Accounts, PMs).
- Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency.
- Extensive experience working with virtual teams across functions and geographies.
- Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment.
- Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners.
- Proven experience in Partner Marketing or GTM expertise within the technology industry.
- Experience working with cloud technologies is strongly preferred.
